Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi calls for serious efforts to achieve stability.

According to the head of the National Dialogue Party, Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi, ignorance and neglect have become features of the new government. This can be seen in dealings with administrative appointments, in the 2010 budget which has surpassed the deadline for submission to Parliament, and in the willful disregard of reform of the municipal electoral law.

Mr. Makhzoumi called on the political figures in government to learn a lesson from the past five years during which institutional chaos spread and conflict moved to the streets. He urged the government to work seriously to stabilize the country and develop the nation’s institutions.
