Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi visits General Aoun: we need to exclude the appointments from the system of quotas.

The head of the National Dialogue Party, Mr. Fouad Makhzoumi, called for administrative nominations to be carried out without resorting to the rules of political sectarianism and power sharing in order to introduce necessary administrative reform.

Mr. Makhzoumi made his comments following a meeting with General Aoun at his home in Rabieh during which the two men discussed developments in Lebanon and the region.

According to Mr. Makhzoumi, meetings with General Aoun are important and necessary. Mr. Makhzoumi agreed with General Aoun on the need for administrative reform as well as municipal elections that should not be a repeat of the 2009 parliamentary elections.
